Quarry Brook Farms is a family owned Certified Naturally Grown grazing based farm dedicated to providing a diversity of nutrient dense pure food to the local community while enriching the agroecosystem.

Sustainable farming methods are used to grow the animals and plants;

no hormones, no antibiotics, no synthetic fertilizers, no pesticides or artificial inputs;

to raise grassfed cattle and sheep & pasture raised chickens and pigs

and a wide variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers.

 

Grass fed cows graze with calves at their side while pigs root and chickens chase butterflies and grasshoppers.  Lambs eagerly nurse from their ewe while hens scratch the humus laden soil and manure piles for earthworms and dung beetles. 

 

All are free from the poisons and crutches of industrial agriculture, Free from chemical fly sprays and parasitacides, No antibiotics!  No Hormones No Ionophores No Grain (or starch of any kind) to Ruminants (Cattle & Sheep) Ever!  No Animal By-Products 

 

All of the animals and produce are Certified Naturally Grown www.naturallygrown.org which means we meet or exceed the USDA National Organic Program Standards

The nurturing of this land began with the purchase of the idle farm by my grandfather William F. Perrin in 1968 and furthered by the vision of my dad, Stephen J. Perrin, who started grazing two cows to begin restoring health and fertility to the used and tired soil.
